The name Ghimuwæ̈-whap Rudnoplu is derived from the Gnollish language, as Ghimuwæ̈-whap Rudnoplu was founded by Nåh́i vyim Tæ̝Lfilf, who was culturaly Gnollish.
Climate
Ghimuwæ̈-whap Rudnoplu has a yearly average temperature of 4°C (39°F), with its average temperature during the summer being an icy 25°C (77°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant -17°C (2°F). Ghimuwæ̈-whap Rudnoplu receives an average of 157 cm/y (61 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of snow during the pleasantly short winter months. Ghimuwæ̈-whap Rudnoplu covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 4410 m (14468 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Ghimuwæ̈-whap Rudnoplu was founded durring the late 12th century in winter of the year 1081, by Nåh́i vyim Tæ̝Lfilf. The establishment of Ghimuwæ̈-whap Rudnoplu was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Nåh́i vyim Tæ̝Lfilf electing to pay people to resettle in Ghimuwæ̈-whap Rudnoplu.
Ghimuwæ̈-whap Rudnoplu was built using the conventions of Gnollish durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ghimuwæ̈-whap Rudnoplu is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.
Ghimuwæ̈-whap Rudnoplu is buildings are arranged arround a single spacious cobblestone mainstreet with many smaller streets branching off of it which gives the town a over all rectangular shape, albit one warped and twisted by the nature of the curves of the main road. The town sits comfortably behind a palisade wall complete with a timber gatehouse and battlments. The town's timber-based walls have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.

Ghimuwæ̈-whap Rudnoplu possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. These lights provide nighttime illumination to most city streets.
Ghimuwæ̈-whap Rudnoplu has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Ghimuwæ̈-whap Rudnoplu's natural decorations nor waterways.
Ghimuwæ̈-whap Rudnoplu has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cultural Notes
Ghimuwæ̈-whap Rudnoplu's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used makes use of a large oblong hall or building with double colonnades and a semicircular apse and symmetrical central-plan, resulting in buildings with a square central mass and four arms of equal length. Decorative features included domed rooves, arches, soaring spaces, and sumptuous decoration: marble columns and inlay, mosaics on the vaults, inlaid-stone pavements, and sometimes gold coffered ceilings.
Due to the actions of local Kami, spring is long in Ghimuwæ̈-whap Rudnoplu.
The Leshy, Leaf near Ghimuwæ̈-whap Rudnoplu are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.
Ghimuwæ̈-whap Rudnoplu's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves consuming a local narcotic to channel Summoning energies of tier 3 via moments of science.
